How We Are More Sustainable?
Did you know over 1 billion plastic toothpaste tubes go into landfill waste each year?
No, we didn’t either until we started working on Happier Beauty toothpaste. This fact made us determined to swap single-use plastic tubes for a better option.
Most toothpaste tubes (and tubes for creams and gels) are made from laminated materials. This means they are made of many layers of different materials, sometimes a mixture of plastic and aluminium. The different materials cannot be separated and this means the tubes can’t be recycled.
Happier Beauty toothpaste tubes are traditional aluminium and they are easy to recycle, unlike plastic laminated toothpaste tubes.
